MEET KRISTEN
Kristen is a life-long Oakland County resident who was born and raised in Keego Harbor. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a Minor in Special Education and a Master of Education from Wayne State University, and she completed board certification (Behavior Analyst) from Florida Institute of Technology. Kristen is running for her 4th re-election for Oakland County Commissioner, District #10.
A HEART FOR SERVING OTHERS
Kristen has dedicated her professional life to serving individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Working hands-on as a special education teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst have instilled the values of persistence, compassion and problem solving. Kristen knows firsthand that seemingly insurmountable obstacles can be overcome when individuals have access to meaningful services, resources, and supports.
